Argument from moi :) Final Fantasy 7 is a great game, I won't argue with you there, YET. But if you play say, Final Fantasy 6, it FOCUSED more on the rest of hte game, I think 3d has attracted ALOT of fancy graphical games with weaker gameplays (I think there's an article of graphics that don't make a bad game good, but good game better). If you've played FF5 or FF6, the battles are actually somewhat fun, FF7? Can you say the same thing for it? I don't think 3D matters, games just tend to FOCUS too much on good graphics nowadays that's all. I mean, squaresoft makes good 3d and 2d games; 2D- Front Mission 3, Xenogears 3D- Vagrant Story (err.. to an extent), Chrono Cross (well, tho it's a remake of a SNES game (YES it is)) Oh and about Legacy of Kain, the original's CG was 3D :P Albin, glad to see ya here, what did you mean by 3D? As in rendered realtime or pre-rendered? Bottom line of all my bullshit: 3D graphics go hand to hand with cinematics.
