REBUTTAL! ^_^ I've played all the Final Fantasies except for FF2, and FF6 is definitely my favorite. But I was really impressed by the mannerisms of the characters in FF7. And FF7 was the first one that Square released unmolested by localization. Personally, I think FF8 had the best BATTLE system, with the ability to junction spells to stats. Now that I'm completely off-topic, I have to say--Xenogears is by far the greatest console RPG of all time, 2D or 3D, and I'll fight anyone who says different ;)
