Yeah, I gotta agree with you about FF8. It was a major letdown. The plot is pretty incoherent....there are a lot of bits which really don't fit. The GF things are WAYYY too long; they try to justify it by letting you pound on the square button to boost the attack power, but that just puts a major hurting on your thumbs. ^_^ The song you're talking about is by somebody named Faye Wong--scared the crap out of me the first time I heard it. Just doesn't seem right hearing speech when I'm playing Final Fantasy! The Junction system works like this--I can collect spells (they got rid of MP in 8-bad idea IMO), and then attach htem to stats. Like, if I attach Drain to my attack stat, I'll drain life from the enemies with every attack. If I put Fire onto my defense stat, my fire defense goes up. See? It lets you strategize for each dungeon. I'm off to go find the FF5 ROM. :) Greg
