Links Module David Goodlad (14 replies, 0 views) (2001-Jan-8)

Hey everyone I've begun work on the links module for The Nexus, but am in dire need of some user input before I finalize the database structure etc... So, here are a couple things that I am trying to decide: - Should the links be strictly categorized, and each category displayed on seperate pages? - Should there be the ability to specify what type of content is on the site (eg: checkboxes for things like 'articles/tutorials', 'source code', 'completed game(s)', 'game(s) under development, etc)? - I think I'd prefer not to have graphical links (banners etc) allowed, but what do you guys think? - A voting/rating system - good? bad? Could possibly be based solely upon 'hits' - eg: clicks on the link to that site would be logged and tallied Any other comments/suggestions are welcome :) David
