Direct3D: Newbie question... Kyle (5 replies, 0 views) (2001-Jan-5)

Hello, I'm pretty new with Direct3D (This is only the second day I've been messing with it) I need a little bit of help. I know how to make a Isometric surface to but my Isometric picture onto but I can't find out how. I've read parts Jack Hoxley's tutorial on Direct3D (The DirectX8 version) and I'm missing where it says or it doesnt say at all how to put a texture onto a surface from a file (A bitmap). If any of you know any tutorials that maybe be able to help me please tell me about it. P.S. I know VB C++ and Delphi so the language the tutorial is for doesnt matter all that much... I'd prefer it not be C++ because I'm not the best with it. However even if it was c++ I could still convert it. Thanks, Kyle
