RE: C++ is evil Almar Joling (6 replies, 1 views) (2000-Oct-16) I'm not C++ unfriendly. In fact I've used some code of the SDK C samples for my game.
But, C++ programmers between (no offence) 14-18 are always saying that C++ is *way* better than VB. I strongly disagree with them, VB is a very powerfull language, and VB7 will even increase that.
In my personal opinion, everything that is possible in C is possible in VB (except for those pointer, whatever they might be).
Now that the TrueVision Engine is also going to be C++, I'm really sad ;o(
It had a very good framerate...
Anyway I put a :o) behind my previous message :o)
So, it wasn't really serious.
