Why do C programmers literally look down in disgust at VB programmers? How did this all start? So far I've hear these comments on VB today - It's Microsoft shit - You can hardly do anything with it - It takes alot of code to do something cool (wtf?) - The executable is huge Well, a lot of C++ programmers are assholes, not all of them but there is a big asshole factor over there. Apart from what Lynx said, I think it has something to do with the name Visual Basic. Picture it this way, when you say "I'm a pro Visual Basic programmer" it sounds sort of stupid while "I'm a pro C++ programmer" sounds all nice and techy.
