Both the voodoo 1 and 2 are secondary devices, they need a primary display adapter to work, whereas most other cards (and all future ones I think) just replace the primary card completely. This means people with voodoo1 and 2 cards can't use hardware acceleration with VB apps because M$ f***ed up and you can't use secondary devices in VB, but you can in C++.
