Sorry, but I really don't like such "asshole" comments!!! I am a C++ programmer and a VB programmer. The time has changed, I think. If you now talk to C++ programmers you will notice that. VB is no longer a toy for C++ programmers. They respect the capabilities of VB. As all things on the world, every thing has two sides (advantages and disadvantages), so have VB and VC. Both have good things and both have "shit" (sorry for that word =) things. Believe me, the majority of C++ programmers do respect VB prgrammers. The times when they made jokes about VB are over. Anyway, VB programmers should also see that there are things, that could be better done with C++. Example? I am actually working on new C++ COM-DLL for VB, that allows us all to use our secondary 3D device (like a voodoo2 or so). Try this with VB... =) So, let's join the forces of VB and VC.
