Inkey (5 replies, 11 views) (2003-Jul-3) Aspereta will be going into closed alpha testing on 7/7. Aspereta combines a visual basic client and a C Linux server (for speed:). The closed alpha testing of Aspereta will only contain around 100 items, 100 spells and 100-200 monsters; however we plan to have many more in the beta phase. There will be four playable classes in the alpha phase however that number is planned to more than double in the beta. The purpose of our alpha test is to test the server and find any major bugs, so to see the true colors of Aspereta, you may have to wait until the beta. The screenshots below don't show too much, because we want to surprise people when the time comes:)

 | Looks like a nice community is already building up there. This project seems to have a bit more "togetherness" than the average VB MMORPG ... :)
-Bryk  There was a game by the exact same name that came out close to a year ago. However, their server was up for exactly one week before it went down. The web page was not updated since then either. Nor do the developers return emails.
Some of the stats look familiar from the other game, as well as the effects. :) Through and through, looks pretty good :)
Donno if it is based on Elementals though :) If so, it'll be the 2nd mmorpg in the world based on elementals (to mine).
Need a way to edit comments... Anyways, the email provided by the person who posted this news article, is the exact same one from the old version of this game.. turns out they changed web addys and never told anybody.
A while back while I was in Japan there was another version of the game.
