Yeah, HL 2 pwns Doom3... Anyway, I have been working my ass off doing collge apps (essays). I have 8 different 500 word essays, a 1000 word one, and various other minor ones. So far, I have only finished 2... It is going to be a long year.

My cousin's going to get his copy soon. Maybe I should visit him to see what I think of it. |
Whatever. Who knows... |

not me - I was taking part in the WoW beta and am now patiently waiting until tomorrow to pick up the retail box. I had a look at HL2 (from a mates house) but wasn't impressed with it when comparing it to WoW - fantasy MMORPG's are my fav games though... |

Well I just had an epiphany. I now realize that the reason I always strive to use the latest in technology (in my case software development) is because for the longest time I never had the chance to. When the pentium 2 was on it's way out and the P3 was on the horizon I was still moping along with a 486DX 80Mhz! It's all so clear to me now! lol
Thanks masterbooda! ....

Wait until you are able to crank out your own custom maps..
Btw.. Does anyone know if HL2 comes with a Hammer like editor for new player maps and has anyone figured out how to do custom textures? I sure hope enviroment maps for skyboxes will be easier to deal with.. I almost always had to rely on Zoner's Tools for compilation.. |

HL2 was alright, though I don't enjoy walking through sewers and ruined cities all the time. The best part is when you're introduced to the fast, springy, screaming monsters. And the ending leaves you asking "That's it?"
But CS:S is definitely fun and worth it. |
