One Big World ... bren (10 replies, 0 views) (2001-Jan-6) Ok, I know this is impossible, all these things never work but still I want to post it =p
Why don't we make one big group, create one big world, every member, devellopment team in the group, can build the world, make a history and a future. All the games that are made by a group member take place in that universe that is created by the group. Now later one when it is running you can do things like make one big engine, and let everyone make a different game, but let the games work together. Like you are playing some sort of starcraft game while your friend is running between the soldiers and fighting as if he was playing a half life kind of game. (Can u imagine, your friend running on your screen totally not doing what you want =) At the same moment you request an airstrike wich is done by someone who is playing a combat sim. I know a nice dream, far from reality. And I know I'm not the only one who thought of this =)
