This is an idea that I've often had before. It's a great idea, but sadly, I think it's too far ahead of its time. Hopefully in the future we will see things like this become more and more possible :-) I've often thought while playing Tribes, "you know, this would be sweet if you could have a commanding general who had a StarCraft like interface to command the troops." (For those who don't play Tribes, it's a team-based game, but nobody works as a team ;)
