Funky DirectDraw bug...please help! Mattman (4 replies, 0 views) (2000-Dec-1)

Okay, so I'm making a Tetris type game with VB using DirectDraw. After flipping each image, I edit the backbuffer and re-flip the image. However, for some reason, the regions of te backbuffer that I DON'T edit, flicker. Here's a sample of what the flickering images look like: <http://www.nobispro.com/tetris/screen1.jpg> <http://www.nobispro.com/tetris/screen2.jpg> Any area in the first image where you can see the form isn't being redrawn on the backbuffer, and should be displayed as bricks. Please help me to figure out what the problem is. If anyone needs any specific region of code, please let me know, cause this is really annoying. Thanks in advance, Matt
