RE: Drawing lines and Quest editor ... Rag on a Stick (4 replies, 0 views) (2000-Nov-12) Drawing lines in a picture box:
Simplest way (not the fastest way) is to use the VB native .Line method:
Picture1.Line (StartX, StartY)-(FinishX, FinishY), Colour
I'm not sure if it is documented, and as an interesting thing, have a look at it in the Object Browser, notice the Syntax it says to use?
Its probably because of the way QBasic treated it and they decided to keep it the same, but the syntax is weird (a '-' in the middle of the arguments?) so it is an exception I suppose.
Enough ranting..
As for Quest editor, what can the engine do? Does it support spawning of objects as results of triggers and thing like that? Depending on how advanced it is, there will be different solutions. Although I wouldn't even know what a quest editor is so I guess I'll keep my mouth shut ("What is it?" "A thing for editing quests" "Thanks")
