Smooth Animation SiliconIce (5 replies, 0 views) (2000-Sep-16) How can I get smooth animation even when the fps drops? right now I base my timing on the screen refresh rate, but if there is any slowsown or windows activity, the game begins to run very slow. I tried a time-based modelling approach, but it was very stuttery and jittery because the timing was so imprecise. Any code examples or tutorials on this? thanks!
