Well said. I didn't think the .NET stuff was to be ASPed, and I agree with you about MS. Usually I steer clear of bagging MS just because I think they deserve their current success; they make good software, sure Windows crashes heaps, but there is a reason that people still use it besides that that everyone else is. I've bought 2 pieces of software I think, VB and MS Flight Simulator 95 (got it for $16.95, what a steal =). I bought them because they are quality products, not because Microsoft forced me to or anything like that. (If 2 products sounds small, just keep in mind my brother buys stuff and my pc is warez free. And I like downloading demos). Anyhoo, I reckon that splitting up MS is stupid but that's totally off topic so don't bother starting arguments (although I just did) because they just end with flames and stuff. I think the buisness pages of newspapers tend to try and hype the new ASP stuff and they leave out all the problems with it. I think that's where I got my steam from. Grr, I hate those publicity dudes (no offence publicity dudes, I only meant the evil ones. No offence evil ones, I still love you) My rant.
