Blue Screen of DEATH!!!! PyroBoy (4 replies, 0 views) (2000-Jun-27) A fatal exeption 0E has occured at 0028:C29AF28D in VXD PCIMP(01)+00001CAD. The current application will be terminated.
It does this quite regularily now... A number of commercial games have caused it and so has my VB DD and D3DIM stuff. This is really pissing me off. It happens when the application tries to switch to a different resolution. I've tried restarting, re-installing the latest drivers for the card and re-installing DX7. Each of these methods merely delay the next onset of the problem. It keeps happening, and it's getting more frequent. The first occurence happened when I was profiling a DirectDraw app using Intel's VTune analyser. I have since banished the infernal VTune to the depths of the recycling bin, but the blue screens haven't quit.
What the hell is going on????
