---- not to be rude but gee.. arn't you making ddck? isn't that copying the design and hard work of c&c. i may be mistaken but i "think" they are the first ones to start real time strategy. and well hey. you are copying it!. :]. ---- Um, hey, no, we are not. RTS is a genre, making another game in that genre isn't stealing, even if there is an original that sparked the whole idea, which is Dune II BTW. We are not making DDCK with Kane and the GDI so we're not stealing. Just as a sidenote though, DDCK is a lot different than C&C. ---- ohh no sonic.. watch out... it is mario!!!!!. but wait.. bonk is here for the rescue.... but wait.. ryu and ken are going to jump kick someone in the air.ohh nevermind scorpion and sub-zero got them down. but not unless the Eternal champions come but they are fighting with marvel right now.. ---- Yeah, but those are derivatives. Sega didn't make a game with a fat plumber named Mario, they changed a lot and came up with a lot of their own ideas. ---- "if no one copied then we wouldn't be getting very far." ---- What you're doing isn't copying, its stealing. The above is copying/derivative. My point is, the developers who made Metal Gear Solid spent a lot of time creating the characters, and you're just taking it. Its really lazy, I would have a lot more respect for you even if you created a game with characters SIMILAR but SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT than the ones in Metal Gear Solid. Peter
