Peter (2 replies, 2374 views) (2003-Jul-24) The [url="http://www.talosstudios.com"]Alpha 7[/url] website has been updated with new screenshots and a new wallpaper from the latest build of Alpha 7.
The wallpaper is of the Terran Light Bomber, an advanced prototype developed by Terran engineers with technology from the Mekthran. It features shielding, heavy weapons capable of annihilating large capitol ships like battlecruisers, and a booster system for added speed and maneuvarability.
The screenshots show off the latest engine features, including in-game allies, large coordinated fleet actions, and the latest graphical effects.

 | It looks sweeter everytime you post screenies ... keep up the good work.  Thanks Bryk. Development on the game is going quite well atm, I'm in the middle of adding mission objectives and scripting to the engine, so in a day or two we should be entering the end stages of development =)
Although, even in the end stages, that means at least a few months.
