Pro-XeX (5 replies, 10 views) (2003-Jun-1) Desktop Defender 2: Battle For Existance is a modest 2D side-scroller game, (shoot'em up actually ;] ) where you become a laser turret pilot who'll have to defend the Earth from the aliens invading. It features cheery 2d graphics, combined with a non-stopping gameplay action.Lasers and missiles shall fill the low orbit and it's your mission to protect the Earth or face human extermination!!

 | This game is actually quite fun to play. I like the screen shaking effect when an asteroid hits the moon. The website is a bit difficult to navigate for us non-IE users, but the game it worth it.  Was really fun, but too short =( I got to the 4th mission before I died I think. I think it just takes you back to the menu screen if you die. I'm glad that you guyz like it ;-)

well yes, at first there was supposed to be a "you die" animation but artists couldn't finish it in time, so I left it in this
