There is nothing out and out "wrong" with it. There are some things holding it back though. One, it's still too new. Right now, nobody wants to hang out at your site because nobody hangs out at your site--kind of a catch 22. Sometimes having a lot of categories can make a forum feel even more empty than it really is, so you might consider trimming it down until you get more traffic. Another thing is that the world of a space sim developer is very small indeed. Why so few people want to make space sims is beyond me, but the fact remains that you are aiming for a very small audience. I would recommend you not panic yet. Try putting a link to your forum in the sinature of all your posts. Whenever you see or here of somone working on a space sim, you could personally invite them to join you on your forum. If you can draw dozen people to your site, they will attract others.
