Brother Erryn (0 replies, 10 views) (2004-Jul-8) I looked at ADO.NET for this too, but decided it was SERIOUSLY overkill for what I needed. Definitely a plus about the .NET platform...all the data methods are available, and you don't have to worry about which version of MDAC they have installed, etc.
