WordWars is a game written in VB with transparency, alpha blending, skinning, and more. Play a scrabble-like game and use over 50 special words to try to kill your opponent. They're all secret of course, so you'll have to find them during the course of place.

The Brainstorm server was written with C/C++, showing that a networked TCP/IP game with a VB client is not only possible, but feasible.
