Royalty free Graphics collection 6/17/2002 | Posted by: Joshua
Graphics are a somewhat important part in a game. And to be honest you'll get more ppl downloading your game if it has good screen shots. You can't talk about how cool your gameplay is in words. But you can show them what it 'looks' like. Anyways, I've been compiling some free tiles and stuff and putting it into a 'free to all' graphics package. Alright so Version 1 is basicly just the tiles that come with lucky's rpg demo. (I got his permission to use them) And some other tiles that a friend of mine drew. But the idea behind it is that we as a community contribute what we can to it when we can. Pretty much if your project dies (Like many do) at least save some part of it and include what graphics you have in this collection. But I'm getting off topic. My website will be up soon with the first version of the package, which your free to use in your game. There's not heaps and heaps and heaps there at the moment but hopefully when it's up I'll be getting more submissions. If you would like I can email you the first version now.
