GH Gamez has just released Multi Snake. Multi Snake is our 2nd game we have made using VB. There is an issue of a flickering graphic but other than that it's great! Multi Snake is a Snake clone featuring snake poo, mines, red horny devil mouse hunting you down, moving mice, blood splatters, funky sounds,... Your highest score is also saved. We're working on a patch as well to work out some bugs in the current release version. Goto the site or click hereto directly download Multi Snake. Space Bandits is a space shooter I've been working on for about 3 months. It's a mix of 2D and 3D graphics. I've posted a link to the download below (You need DirectX8 or later installed, and the VB runtime already installed.) Use the cursor keys or joystick to move (keys are not mappable yet), and Insert fires. Also, A ans S strafe left and right. I greatly appreciate anyone letting me know if it runs, and (assuming it does) what kind of framerate you're getting.(It's largely unoptimized.) I also hope to get some feedback/suggestions from you guys to improve it.

This is a cool real 3D racing game written in VB6 and using DirectX7 D3D Retain Mode.

It's a VB clone of LUDORACE, created by GraphitX for Ludorama.

I have a lot of "Art" links because I suck at that and need all the help I can get. Go check them out (on the RIGHT side of the page) and add your own.

Tides of Lyenoa has just released Alpha 6 Final. Tides of Lyenoa is a Massively Multiplay Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG).

Please help us create a unique and large community. We are arctively creating update patches, new sprites (thats my job), and working out the magic/attacking systems.

The magic system will be rather unique. We are creating a system where magic is rare and hard to learn. It is dangerous to the user, but very powerful. Spells can be created through the usage of our unique "scripting" idea. Magical keywords are added or subtracted to manipulate how the spell is cast.

We are also working on runes, forging weapons, crafting, and many other interesting ideas. Please come and help us out!

RPG-Dev.net is a resource for RPG developers using any programming language they want, be it Visual Basic, C/C++, Delphi, QBasic, etc. Developers can register their own account which works for the main site and the forums. After registering your account you can submit your own projects and/or resources which will automatically be displayed in with the other submitted stuff! Everything is user-submitted so the content stays fresh.

This site is relatively new, today marking the end of the second week it's been open for. We hope to see you there! :)

Dark Realms v0.82 is now uploaded! Massive improvement, not to mention the new resource pack that brags 113 animated NPCs and a tileset that COULD handle 2500 tiles (If someone drew them)! The screenshots provided show some of the new Dark Realms. The option to view your NPCs and proof that Dark Realms can handle roughly 30 animated NPCs in the players view (The player is the dragon)! (It is scripted to have no limits, but for some reason it gives errors when you get around 50)

You HAVE to download Dark Realms, especially since I have made it so easy compared to the old way. The resource pack still needs to be extracted into your Dark Realms folder, but the Exe itself and all the depency files will be installed by the setup program bundled in the Dark Realms Exe download zip :)
I need testers to help me inprove this game, download it and let me know what you think about it!

Woot! I'm in the process of integrating a forum for this website for the 180 or so people that have registered a username. If you've signed up previously, then your login/pass should still be valid. Of course, there are sill a few bugs left that I'm ironing out from the migration to the forum database format, but I'm still working on it!

Hey all!
Dark Realms v0.7 will come soon, the screenshots provided show how the Level Creator has changed (Tileset now handles 2500 seperate tiles!) and also my need for an artist! :)
I have semi-animation scripts already made and only wait for an artist to help draw up some pics and whatever to include with the upload... if you are an artist and interested you can either email me or post on the Dark Realms forums!

I run a small indie company called Insectile Donut Productions. I'm working on a VB shootemup called Final Strike that will have all the intensity of an arcade game plus a branching plotline and the ability to purchase upgrades for your ship. I'm using Dx7 for graphics and Dx8 for everything else.
