I would reccomend a fourm but latley I'm hooked on the Wiki trend myself. I would recomend GPWiki.org as well. Can't get a better "sense of community" then to use a wiki and have other people correct your mistakes. :p
Mutiny? You mean, because "There can only be one"? :P
Seriously, it's been really quiet around here lately, and I do think that the wiki websites (not just GPWiki, but wikies in generel) offer a much better sense of community since everyone is responsible for crafting the website. The "Game Programming Wiki" also has a much much broader audience because it's about game programming in generel and not limited to a specific programming language. A lot of people - myself included - are still interested in game programming but have moved from Visual Basic to other languages. I started programming with Visual Basic and have later moved on to C++ and now I'm using Java. I still have VBGamer as one of the pages that opens when I open my browser even though I don't use VB anymore... :)
