Just starting in vb.net, used to use VB 6 all the time. I'm looking to start doing some DX programing for it and would like some links to tutorials and maybe a game engine or libaries (like DXTools). Speaking of DXTools... Having trouble with DXEliminator, can't find Release 2. Anyone know where I can grab it?

Any help would be greatly appriated.

Ohh, good question! I'd like to know where the new updates are as well! hehe

I admit I have been slacking off as of late. Kinda got hooked on
FarCry, Doom3, and UT2004. I have also been taking the time for some
learning a little about vertex and pixel shaders. But good news! I am
in the process of releasing a new update (Release 6) That will
encompass all three libraries (DXTools, DXEliminator, and Game Tools)

I have also decided to take a different approach with Release 6 and
have rewritten the library from scratch. With the new library you no
longer have to manage objects like Mesh, Canera objects the library.

One last thing. And it's kind of important. If you want updates to the
DX9Tools library. (Or any of the software I develop for that matter)
Pester me! Yep, you heard right. I encourage you to keep pestering me
to continue to improve the library. I often find myself getting side
tracked from time to time and need people like you to let me know that
people actually use the code I put out there! If there is one thing I
want to see happen, it is a graphics library, API or helper library
that makes working with 3D graphics that much easier. So if you don't
see me posting any updates to the library after a resonable ammount of
time, just start fireing off those emails to get me back on track.

Well it looks like i'm rambling so I will just leave it at that. If
you need any help, questions, comments, don't be afraid to send me an
email at createdbyx@gmail.com!
