Whew had to dig around the forum to find this topic again...lol
We now have an official DBTurbo Forum and a new site on a stable server...here we go, lets see if I can get the brackets right...lol
http://www.daboodasilver.darkwizard.org/dbturbo/main.htm ......this is the main site
http://www.daboodasilver.darkwizard.org/forum/ ........this is the forum
http://www.daboodasilver.darkwizard.org/lolo/main.htm ....this is just in case you have some lolo levels made and want to post them..
The other site is still running for now also for the time being...
I just want to personally thank Eric for allowing us to use this forum for DaBooda temporarily, and I will personally still keep contributing to this site, it has been very kind to us. I apologize for any wierd conduct on my part and I will keep meditating towards peace.
In the works at the moment are some more tutorials, I have recieved many questions about the map class and I will try to simplify it as much as possible. Also I am toying around with the idea of making a dx7 counterpart to this engine, but will most likely wait for the new version to be released. Others are working on ports for the engine, so I am estatic with the current production of this engine. It is a busy time at the moment and I hope it doesn't wain, we need to start producing some games. I think I will make some more before starting to work on the new version, sorry guys, but dang it I made this to make some games and I want to do so, lol.
I encourage everyone interested to join our forum, it isn't just for DBTurbo, it is for many different coding ideas. Maybe even just take a looksy and enjoy. Also we are willing to host dabooda related games up to 8mbs, and if they are larger we will link them to the site.
Thanks again for all support.....
DaBooda out.......
P.S. This engine will always be open source and free. And yes Eric I know this isn't really an engine, but its not a wrapper either, what is it then. Well I have decided, it is a tool towards making games...lol.

Good call on making a separate forum, it's a bit crowded in here. |

Dabooda Team is not dead.. Masterbooda and I were without internet for a long time. It also turns out that the darkwizard.org domain fried while being offline. such is life I suppose. Just got cable internet 2 weeks ago and found out Masterbooda is on Satelliate.(sp?) We managed to get a new server and a new site up and running. We can be found at http://dabooda.org
Gemini/DBMaM has been put on the backburner as far as any new updates, we are working on modernizing another wonderful 8-bit game from the NES days.. An update on DBT is in the works. It's up in the air whether this will be considered DBT 1.5 or simply a completely new entity (ala Dabooda Daemon). If it's the latter, then I'll release the updated DBT 1.5 I've developed once I have MB's blessing. A new tech demo will also be released here soon. It's an experiment I've been working on, and finally got working correctly. DBT can now work in FreeBASIC as well as VisualBASIC. Once again, thank you guys@VBGamer for your support all these years! Crysstaafur out.......

Just to let you guys know, I finally finished developing the official site we will be using. Please check it out, for I put many hours(due mainly to my lack of knowledge with css and js) into this site. Also as my bro already said, DaBooda turbo isn't dead yet. I am currently working on a new game built with it, as well as the new engine.
DaBooda out...
P.S. You guys are great, and sorry for the long long absence, have had my head up my...well you know how it is... |

I'm glad to hear you're still alive and working. DaBooda is really a cool engine. Keep us listed on your development. |
