Hi there, just thought id introduce myself and my project.
Over the last 6months ive been developing a large scaled RPG series called 'Guardian'. 'Age Of Stoneheart' is the first venture, and its well set to being completed in the next couple of months.

Without going into too much detail yet, GAOSH is built modular. Net playable, and ever expansive. It features a fast and intuative Sprite and Map engine, A custom video playback system for FMV curcumstances. And uses another engine called VaZ (Too complicated to talk about now) for all ingame actions, data handling etc...

Even though this game is an RPG. Like i said before it is ever expansive like ID's Quake sceries. and will also feature a mod system.

As for audio playback. at the moment the engine supports WAV, MP3, MP2, WMA, MIDI, MOD, XM plus many others!
