One other thing you could check is to go into "Control Panel" and open up the display properties dialog and select the "Settings" tab, then click the "Advanced" button. Under the "General" tab there is a DPI setting make sure this is set to "Normal"

right side of the screenshots, the font is very small causing bad AA

It looks perfectly normal to me....maybe change your display resolution to something lower like 1024x786?

hey... btw, i know how to make an printscreen... lol, anyway i tooked photoshop since it was already open :p

Is this is effecting your entire system including other programs other then vb 2k5?

I'd have to say, from the image that it's a result of the theme you are using. Go into "Control Panel" and open up the display properties dialog and select the "Apearence" tab, then click the "Advanced" button. Under the "Item" list you can specify font sizes for cirtian window features. If that still does not work it may be the software you are using to use that theme. That software could be overriding windows to prevent windows from altering the theme. But I think the chance of this is remote.

It would help if you provided a image of whats going on. Setup your screen to the problem you have then press the "Print Screen" key to create a snapshot image of your desktop. Then run MS Paint or your image editing program and paste the snapshot image from the clipboard and save the image. Then post it here in the fourms as an attachment! It would be a big help!

Well, I work with VS.NET 2003 and maybe it'll be the same:
1) When you start up VS, you should see some start page
2) In the menubar, click on TOOLS
3) In the TOOLS submenu, click on OPTIONS
4) Click on the map called ENVIRONMENT
5) Over there, you should see FONTS AND COLORS, click on that.
6) In the window next to the maps, you can change the font
That's it!

If you have more problems, mail me at m2jrr@hotmail.com
