Posted - Jun 28 2004 : 05:10:13 AM Holy s**t it actually happened! Earthquake! It just happened at around June 28, 2004 2:53am PST. My first earthquake! Wuhoooo! That was cool! It was not a very strong one, just enough to feel the earth rock back and fourth gently a few times. But still awsome none the less. Sure glad I took that mid after noon nap, other wise I'd be asleep by now, and would have missed it.
Dam, now I'm never going to get to sleep, i'll be waiting in anticipation for any after shocks to ride again ... Sorry not really relavent to vbgamming, but can't contain me excitement! |

HaHA very funny...
Turns out the earthquake hit the northern queen Charlotte islands, at a magnitude of 6.7! So what I felt was only the very edge of it here in terrace, The Queen Charlotte Islands are about 1000km away or so. Still pretty cool though! A google news search also seems to indicate that a quake hit the easy coast as well...
