2.Yep David thats why we use 256 Colors
A lot of coll effects are more than easy to do Like to Night & Day or Coloranimation
Show me someone who could EASY make a EXTREME FAST N&D routine with more
than 256 colors :o)
At the moment we use only 187 Colors for our game and we only need about 50std colors for the player & menus
so why should i use 16Bit or 32 Bit if 8 is more than enough
If u use the 256 Colors good u cant see a different between 2 pics 8/16
And we can hold the game very small
Our first testprog needs only 136K including about 1500 Tiles 16x16
(But no EFX cause we used 800x600x16)
