Ah yes, but when you open a file you've written in binary in an ascii editor it shows strings as actual text, and you can change them as long as you don't change the length (I think). But I know what you mean, not many people will bother trying to alter a file in binary, and if they are that persistant, they will get into it through a hex editor, and it doesn't matter what you do they'll find a way in. Unless you use some big style encryption.
