S3 vs. D3D7 bitmap transparency jim (1 reply, 0 views) (2001-Sep-22) S3 Wins!
Here's the prob. I've got sprites that use D3D for rotation, scaling, transparency, Alpha blending and such. It works fine on my comp and my girlfriends comp, both of which have Intel 8281 video cards. However, my friends computer, which has an S3, draws what should be transparent as a solid white (or whatever the RGB value of the sprite is).
I think someone posted the solution on lucky's board, but lucky's board is down. Where have the lucky's-board-people gone to?
