What should be in a good map type for you? In other words what makes a good map for you (contents, structure => on programming level ofcourse). To be more specifick for a Diablo like, isometric tile based RPG. What items are a must, what are things you should do to get a good speed, how should it be build up. How can it be a bit game undepended, so that it can be used for another game after this one. Feel free to post anything related, lots of replies so that we all learn how to make the perfect map type for an iso rpg ;) Also I would like your opinion on a combination of VB and C++, and which parts would you make C++ and what would you keep VB? I hope this is clear enough and an interesting topic and that u can help me out. Thanks, Bren
