My hybrid engine (DX7) works fine in windowed mode you must be doing something wrong These tips are for DX7 are you setting the compatiblity to the picturebox of the window you are drawing to? Remember that your primary surface IS your desktop remember to get the RECT of the picturebox you are going to blt to, otherwise you might blt to your primary surface at 0,0 setting a clipper might help *shrug* -B
