Hm well i lucky told me why it might crash... he told me to get some space for string first and if you have it, copy the type into it.. space(len(mytype)) aka this style before the copymemory, what do you think? my vb dont crash now, but it looks like that the usertype wasnt copied... if i try to display it in an msgbox ist an empty string.. i tried it like that: mystr = space(len(mytype)) copymemory mystr, mytype,lenB(mytype) hm but i think len/lenB isnt the same as sizeof from C or so... i think it just searches for the \0 in the string... and has an small counter that returns when it found the null termination... or ?
