It's not really something you can make a "Sample" of. Most of the code needed is done by the IDE, and you have to add classes, add methods etc etc. Having the code in front of you doesn't help at all =) (if you don't believe me, ask anyone who has ever created a COM DLL in msvc++ =) You need to know the technique behind actually creating it from scratch. (i.e piling through menus and dialogue boxes, there is very little actual "Typing" involved) If i thought that it would help you then i would send you a sample no problem, but unfortunately (i know first hand =) It's not the coding that is the hard part, it's mastering the ide to actually do the coding. I think <http://www.developer.com> has a whole section on COM im not sure if there is anything useful though. If I had the time (and if the question was VB related) I would sit and write a tutorial on creating a simple COM DLL, but unfortunately neither of those is true. All i can say is keep searching through COM white papers until you find something useful. Sorry Adam
