You can also "PUT" the stuff in order...
Like:
Open App.Path & "\..\maps\Eastin.map" For Binary As #1
Put #1,, MapInfo
Put #1,, Map
Close #1
And when you read:
Open App.Path & "\..\maps\Eastin.map" For Binary As #1
Get #1,, MapInfo
Get #1,, Map
Close #1
much easier...
