An explanation... Alex Kriss (8 replies, 0 views) (2001-Feb-24) It was very difficult for me to close the doors on a project that I myself had loved so dearly, and one that I had been working on with Adam Hoult, practically the savior of the VB Gaming Community, for so long. But our priorities waned to other things, and in the end we just couldn't devote the needed time to such an ambitious project.
Enigma would have been great, and I'm still sad thinking about this course of action. As the site currently says, I'm incredibly greatful to all the fans that visited our site regularly and contributed in various ways...our motivations would have plummetted far sooner had it not been for you.
The URL, seeing as I own it, will not disappear, and I intend to use it to host whatever projects (though gaming will not likely be a part of them) I might start in the future. Again, thank you to everyone and I hope that the abrupt end of Enigma doesn't disappoint anyone too much.
Signing off,
Alex Kriss
