A heuristic (according to my Decision Maths Teacher) is just a "Rule of Thumb"... in the case of A* algorithms it's just an approximation of the distance from a point to the goal... As for calculus - Differentiation and Integration, I got told they were really really difficult and to be very scared of them (end of last school year), but we learnt it in about 3 weeks - bloody easy stuff :) anx^(n-1) and (a/(n+1))x^(n+1) + C ... hehe Jack;
