PHP setup... Steven Blom (1 reply, 0 views) (2001-Jan-10) I'm quite under the impression that David runs thenexus off his own Linux box.
PHP is completely server side and does require modules be installed into the Web server.
I'm running PHP4 through apache on my windows NT box in the next room, but I'm having dire troubles getting PHP4 to work with IIS5 on this computer (Win2k) if anybody has any ideas how to fix that (The module isn't loading as far as I can tell... and I get internal server errors whenever I try to access it...)
As for hosting, I would gladly host any site, but I can't really promise a really fast connection, since it all goes through a 56.6k modem (the best I can do in the middle of Australia :( )
If you want, I'll host your page, but I *MUST* be allowed to look at your PHP files, because I don't want any malicious code on my server, reinstalling apache etc is a pain.
Reguards,
Steven Blom
