Okay, scratch that, new question MetalWarrior (1 reply, 0 views) (2000-Dec-7)

I've figured out how to make paletted textures work, so now all I need is a way to generate my palettes. It doesn't matter how slow it is, since it's all going to be done beforehand in the image compresser. So... does anyone have any algorithms to generate a palette for a 32-bit ARGB image? Or at least an RGB one that I can adapt? Just like Photoshop does when you convert to indexed color, I need to be able to choose a palette that contains the most important colors. Thanks
