Sort of what I have in mind. I was thinking more of a "no need for the web browser" control. Something that plugs right into VB so when you are coding all you do is hit a button, fill out a search, and it returns results back to you. Of course, doing it via the web would be a secondary option to pick up as well. A respository of information, with links back to the originals, sounds like a great idea. This eliminates the hassle of organizing it locally, uploading, etc etc... The only drawback I forsee are dead links. The program would have to spider those items in the DB periodically and clean out the dead mass. All in all, not a daunting DB/VB task to do really. Looks like the code to make an Add-in for VB is extremely straightforward, no suprise there.
