Guess what Jack? That's pretty much what I'm doing... The plan is (for the news piece of things at least) that anyone will be able to 'post' a news item. BUT that won't go directly onto the page, it'll be put into a pool where a select few people, 'moderators', will be able to quickly review the new items and either accept or reject them (eg: if it's just a completely BS ad and not really 'acceptable'), that would keep the spam level down but keep information flow up without much intervention from one single person.
