I have a AMD Duron 650, with a Voodoo4. I upgraded to DirectX 8 with new DX8 video drivers, but my computer freezes up whenever I run a DirectX 8 3D program. I've tried everything, except reformat my computer, which I am pretty much incapable of doing with all the important data that I have. Has anyone had this problem before? This only affects DirectX8 3D programs, all other non-3d programs and programs using directX7 and lower have no problems. The thing about it is the 3D programs I tried using were the sample ones from Microsoft's DirectX8 SDK. Even my own DirectX8 3D programs freeze up. Please Help!!!!!!!!
