I am trying to change the volume of the DirectMusic project that I am working on. I can easily change the volume when the device is set to the "Microsoft Synthesizer", but when the device is set to anything else that my sound card supports, the volume change won't work with it. Does anyone out there know how to do this through DirectMusic or by any other means like API and such? This is the one thing I'm having a hard time looking for.
