Yes, grim fandango is proof that 3d works for graphical adventures. I think this game will be a huge success, as the characters seem to have personallity, this is a hard thing to do in 3d. My favourite GA game would have to be Maniac Mansion. I don't think it was a lucasarts game but it had all the same traits. Great characters, good story, great puzzles and great erie setting. That game really freaked me out..Whenever I walked into the kitchen and saw the professors ugly green wife I shit myself hehe... gotta love the unexpected. All the characters in that were cool, not to mention the tentacle. Soop.
