Well, firstly, I agree with the other follow-ups about the msgboard and community, my puny site went down for half a year at a time, even shut itself but the msgboard was still alive, not very popular but there were and are old time visitors still there. Secondly, I agree with what you said in the middle, you ARE trying to offer an alternative.. but there are different methods to do this. To ridicule and mock one of hte best sites is completely idiotic, it may be on a slump, but nothing's perfect, and there isn't anything in the world that doesn't fail you here and now, there and again. "The only site that will actually post your news when you send it !" I can probably name you 5 sites off the top of my head that will do the same, mine for one, freeride designs lets u submit news as well... etc etc etc. There's a line between marketing, shameless ad plug, propaganda and then there's what you've done; this site sucks, go to mine. THe very fact ur waiting for people to send you news means your site ain't going nowhere. Did Linux wait for windows users to visit their website or did they go out there and struggle with the software giant? You decide.
